This is an excellent shirt for women, or for wearing under a vest, as the gathering gives it extra space in the chest and waist without making the shoulders unnecessarily bulky.

They are also gorgeous with a cropped top and a hip scarf, and the fabric sways and swirls when you're walking or dancing.

Shirt has a lace up front with sewn holes instead of the metal grommets that eventually pull out. Front has a slight gathering at shoulders for extra fabric without extra bulk for wearing with vests and jackets. Sleeves are gathered at the shoulder, with coconut button cuffs, the back is tailored with a yolk and the collar is fitted with no gathers.
The natural color is a heavier weight hand-loomed cotton, the other colors are lighter shirt-weight fabric.
